Enjoy the experience of rehearsing and performing great concert band music from Bach to Sousa to Rock.  Some experience required on woodwind, brass or percussion instruments.

Alameda Sings!  (Alameda Community Chorus – ACC)

Sing spring seasonal repertoire in a variety of styles/genres including the Rutter Requiem with Alameda Sings! Alexander Technique and Back Trouble

The Alexander Technique is one of the most instrumental of all the approaches studied in relieving tension and pain in the lower back. Learn how to observe yourself, detect harmful postural and movement habits and put the principles of the technique into proactive to prevent future injuries.

Walking with the Alexander Technique

Many of us suffer from flat feet, fallen arches, plantar fasciitis, or bad hips and knees. Learn how to work with your body, legs, and feet, not against them. By improving your balance and learning to understand the proper mechanics of walking, you will increase your mobility and ultimately find more enjoyment in your walk.

Beginning Taiko Drumming

This is a fun class at a beginner level. The class covers simple rhythms and basic form. It provides light exercise for students of all ages. There will be a $5 materials fee payable to the instructor at the first class.

Grief Recovery Method & Support Group

This educational support group will teach participants how to use the Grief Recovery Method to move beyond pain caused by death, divorce, and other losses. Participants will also learn how to support others experiencing grief. There is a $20 lab fee payable to the instructor on the first day.
