It’s time for kids to head back to school so check out Alameda Recreation and Park Department’s After School Program offerings:

Our RAP Program is open to those enrolled in All-Day Kindergarten to 5th Grades for the following schools:  Bay Farm, Earhart, Edison, Franklin, Haight, Lum, Maya Lin, NEA, Otis, Paden and Ruby Bridges
Children are picked up from their school and walk as a group to the nearest park location for after school care.

The following RAP Sites are full:

  • Tillman (Bay Farm School)
  • Lincoln (Edison and Otis Schools)
  • Franklin (Franklin, Haight and Lum Schools)

Waiting lists are available for the above named schools.  Just return a completed RAP registration form to the ARPD Main Office.

Plenty of spaces still remain for:

  • Earhart School (Leydecker Park)
  • Maya Lin School (Washington Park)
  • Paden School (Longfellow Park)

Online registration is not available for this program, however, you can download registration forms; complete and e-mail back to us with your credit card information.  We need to receive your registration form and payment at least 24 business hours before your child can start the RAP Program.
