Purpose

To promote the educational, cultural, and economic welfare of the City by preserving and protecting historical resources that serve as visible reminders of the history and heritage of Alameda.

Regular Meeting Schedule
First Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

 

How to Become a Member
There are currently no vacancies on the Board.  Applications may be submitted for future consideration when a vacancy is available.  Applications to become a member of the Board requires the following steps:

  1. Downloading and completing this application form
  2. Attaching a resume that lists the applicant's education, professional experience, and any professional licenses and certifications
  3.  Submitting items 1 and 2 to the City Clerk's office.  

Applicants will only be notified if they are appointed by the City Council.
