Update on Shooting Incident in the City of Alameda

Shane Killian, a 54-year-old white male resident of the City of Alameda, has been arrested on charges of murder and attempted murder in connection with a domestic shooting incident that took place on July 10 at 9:00pm in the 400 block of Kitty Hawk Street. Four shooting victims died at the scene: the shooter’s wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and 6-year-old son. The shooter’s 1 year-old-son was also shot and remains in critical condition at a local hospital. The Alameda Police Department is actively investigating the incident and will provide further updates as they become available.
