In honor of His Holiness Pope Francis, all United States flags have been ordered to be lowered to half-staff and will remain lowered until sunset, on the day of interment.

Construction work to improve pedestrian safety will begin on June 1, 2020, at Fernside Boulevard and Harvard Drive. The project includes the installation of a wireless solar, LED Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon crosswalk system with push buttons, concrete and asphalt work, striping, and signage. The project is expected to be complete by the middle of June 2020. Construction work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
During construction, motorists may experience minor disruptions in traffic, temporary loss of parking spaces, and noise and dust. Bus stop access will be maintained throughout the project.
