City Hosts 10th Annual Autumn Job Fair

The City of Alameda‘s 10th annual Autumn Job Fair is being held on Tuesday, September 24, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, at the South Shore Shopping Center in the plaza across from Trabocco Restaurant.
Temporary and permanent positions at all skill levels located in Alameda and nearby cities are available to be filled by Alameda residents and students, including students from the College of Alameda.
Job seekers are encouraged to come prepared with printed resumes and dressed in interview-appropriate attire. Job seekers may register at: https://tinyurl.com/JobFair2024-JobSeeker to receive additional information and a reminder for the event.

Last year, 37 businesses, public agencies, and nonprofit organizations participated in the Job Fair, representing over 100 open positions. In a post-event survey, approximately 75 percent planned to offer at least one position to a job seeker they met at the event.
The Job Fair is co-sponsored by the City of Alameda, South Shore Shopping Center, Alameda County Social Services Agency, and the Alameda Chamber & Economic Alliance.
