City Accepting Nominations for the Sixth Annual Community Service Awards
Nominations are now open to recognize individuals, local nonprofit organizations and businesses for their exemplary dedication to community service and improving the common good of Alameda. The Community Service Awards nomination packet may be downloaded at https://tinyurl.com/2019serviceawards. Nominations may come from anyone in the community and must be e-mailed to abagtas@alamedaca.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019. Nominations are being accepted for the following eight categories:

Mayor Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft and the City of Alameda’s Social Service Human Relations Board will honor this year’s recipients at the Sixth Annual Community Service Awards Ceremony on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge Ballroom, 2255 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda. The awards ceremony is open to the public and is free of charge. Light dinner will be served.
