Alameda Domestic Incident: Suspect Arrested After Shooting

Yesterday evening the City of Alameda shared information about a tragic domestic incident at the 400 block of Kitty Hawk Road in the City of Alameda. A suspect has been arrested and there is no safety threat to the public.

At this time, the suspect is believed to have shot and killed his wife, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and one of his young sons. A second very young son was also shot and is in the hospital in critical condition.

Alameda Police Department officers responded quickly to the scene and recovered multiple firearms and significant evidence. Officers remain at the scene collecting evidence and we will share more information about this horrific loss of life when it is available.
