The City of Alameda and the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) are hosting the Ninth Annual Alameda Youth Career & Job Fair on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Encinal Jr. Sr. High School’s gymnasium, located at 210 Central Avenue in Alameda.

This annual event offers a unique opportunity to connect Alameda’s future workforce with potential employers, summer internships, and career development resources. The Fair is an excellent opportunity for local employers to meet motivated students eager to gain real-world experience and apply the skills they’ve learned in the classroom.

Last year, over 600 students attended, and this year’s event is expected to attract even more. Students from all high school students in Alameda are invited to this free event to explore diverse career paths, with more than 40 organizations on hand, including local employers, trade organizations, educational institutions, and City-sponsored internships.

In addition to meeting potential employers, students can access a wide range of summer opportunities and a Resume Help Desk, available for students who are seeking guidance on how best to format or update their resume. Students who bring their resumes will also be entered into a raffle drawing.

For Employers:

Organizations offering summer jobs, internships, or educational opportunities are encouraged to participate. Register for a FREE table at the event by Friday, March 14: https://tinyurl.com/YouthCareerFair2025.
