Auto Parking in Alameda

Recent news: The Park St restriping project is complete as of June 26, including "no parking" signs on the new, green parklet barricades. Now, parking has moved back to the curb on both Park St and Webster St! For quick stops like food pick-up, look for new short-term parking zones serving every block, marked by green curb, signs, and green meter heads. Do not stop at red curbs or block bike lanes, even briefly.

Alameda aims to manage curb space and public parking to best meet our community’s needs, reducing automobile traffic and greenhouse gas emissions, providing access to services and facilities, and supporting the City’s commercial areas.
