Register Your Privately Owned Security Camera

Did you want to register the locations of your privately owed security system with the Alameda Police Department? Step 1.Gather your information

For security camera registration, you will need to provide the following:

  • Contact information for yourself or business
  • Details about your surveillance system
    • Location
    • System details - number of cameras, brand, camera resolution & retention of footage
    • Description of camera view(s)

Step 2.Submit your registration

Register the location of your security system with us by completing our registration form on out Crime Graphic website

 Complete the online registration form

Step 3.We will register your camera location

We will register your camera's location with the Alameda Police Department.  Should a crime occur in or around your area, we will contact you to view any previously recorded footage your system may have captured.
