World of Wonder (WOW)
Ages: 5 – 10
(Completed Kindergarten to 4th Grade as of Summer 2015)
“It's Always Sunny in Alameda” this summer at ARPD. The World of Wonder (WOW) program has been the favorite way for kids to spend their summer vacation and for parents to be assured of the security of a supervised recreational care program. All activities are geared toward a weekly theme. The “Isle of Style” as some locals refer to Alameda, provides many opportunities for fun and exploration in the summer months. Alameda favorites, activities that are uniquely Alameda and Movement are the overall themes this summer. Activities include the following: cooking, crafts, games, drama, nature, swimming, walking excursions, and much, much more!
*Participants will have opportunity to partake in a fishing program led by East Bay Regional Park District. Recreational swim will also be available on Friday afternoons for $5. More details will be available at the sites.
