Make it And Take it Home
Ages 6 – 11
Discover how amazing science is in this hands-on, fun and exciting program! Campers make and take home a wide assortment of toys designed to teach science concepts in a hands-on way. Grow and take home a crystal tree; make an energy bead bracelet; build a working electric motor; make your own sharpie pen t-shirt and learn some cool chemistry; make bubbling blobs and explore the properties of a density tube; make silly putty, glowing goo, and green flubber. Campers will even get to make ice cream in our own, different, Sciensational way! Campers need to supply 100% cotton shirt.

Magnetic Levitation for Future Transportation
Ages 7 - 12
Campers will build their own “futuristic maglev” car to race and take home! In 1999 a Japanese five-car maglev train set a record of 345 miles/hour. Yours won’t go that fast, but we will have fun building it and learning how it operates. Learn about the relationship between magnetism and electricity. You will also build a simple maglev track, as well as a cool electromagnet. You’ll learn how motors and generators work; build and take home the worlds simplest motor; make your own compass and take part in other magnificent, magnetic activities!

Follow Me Robot
Ages 7 -12
How would you like to build a robot that has four built-in microphones and detects the sound source, and moves accordingly? Make it move the way you want it to! It’s your own robot to build and take home. Learn about the different gears and sensors as you build it. Campers will also get to build other robots while working in groups. Use what you’ve built to sumo wrestle, and in obstacle course events. See everything happening as you build. That’s the Sciensational way!

Electronic Lab Workshop – 30 Electronic Gadgets
Ages 7 - 12
Build and keep 30 different projects and experiments with your own electronic kit in this hands-on workshop. The Science Electronics Lab will stimulate kids’ minds by using easy to understand experiments to increase their knowledge of electronics. Science project ideas will come alive as they build with electronic circuits. Have fun designing your own projects once you’ve built all 30. Kids can proceed at their own pace. Participants will be grouped by age.
