Learn to Code with the Alameda Free Library’s Summer Coding Series

Beginning Monday, June 16th and continuing through the summer, the Alameda Free Library will offer free, drop-in, self-paced Computer Programming classes in our 2nd Floor Computer Lab at the Main Library, 1550 Oak Street.. The days and times are as follows:  Mondays 2pm-5pm, Wednesdays 2pm-5pm, Fridays 11pm-1pm, and Sundays 1pm-5pm.

Using the online tutorials offered through www.khanacademy.org, we’ll learn how to use the JavaScript language and the ProcessingJS Library to create fun drawings and animations.  The drop-in sessions will include guidance from Instructor Marvin Winzenread and the Computer Lab Staff.

The Coding Series is open to all ages and skill levels.  Come when you can, and pick up where you left off.  Expand your computer and technology skills while having fun!
