An exhibition from July through September 2014 in the Regina K. Stafford Meeting Room on 1st floor of the Alameda Main Library, 1550 Street.
These works are from the recent Alameda on Camera exhibit at the Frank Bette Center. 48 photographers were each randomly assigned a section of Alameda to photograph from Friday night to Sunday evening, February 22 & 23, 2014. They were encouraged to present their images in creative ways. Photographer, Juan D. Cruz saw people enjoying the early morning at the beach, Steve Elbert was intrigued by shapes and shadows of a man walking his dog, Karen Braun Malpas pulled the photo into pathways of design. Everyone presented Alameda in a deeply felt new light.
