Non-Emergency Ambulance

The Alameda City Fire Department's new BLS (Basic Life Support) Transport Program offers non-emergency ambulance transport for patients who need to be transported to or from medical facilities. We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care and view every patient encounter as if they were one of our own family members.

The Fire Department has provided emergency ambulance service for more than 30 years. Until now, the only non-emergency ambulance service available to the Alameda community has been from private companies located outside the City. The Department's new program offers local and reliable service by professional medical technicians.

BLS Transports include:

  • Inter-facility
  • Doctors Appointments
  • Dialysis Appointments
  • Event Standbys
  • And much more...

In addition to non-emergency transports, we are pleased to offer CPR training to the public.
