Attention Alameda Seniors & Disabled!
The Alameda Fire Department Housing Safety and Accessibility Program provides much needed services to low-to-moderate income residents over 62 and the disabled of any age. The Program installs smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replaces aging batteries. The Program also installs raised toilets, grab bars and handrails. Free nightlights, flashlights and grab sticks are offered as well.
The program is eager to serve all Alamedans in need. Call Ruth Ann Crawford at 510-337-2133 to see if you or your loved one qualifies.
The Program proudly call the following agencies our Community Partners: Housing Authority of the City of Alameda, Mastick Senior Center, Alameda Hospital, Boy Scouts, Kiwanis Club, and the Alameda Multi-Cultural Community Center
